Remembering the Forgotten Words
Introduction and Description of the Meditation

There are moments in every spiritual journey when we sense that something beautiful has been forgotten.

Not lost.

Not destroyed.

Simply forgotten beneath the noise of daily life, beneath old wounds, fears, expectations, and the countless stories we have gathered along the way.

Inspired by the profound message received from Mary Magdalene on May 10, 2024, Remembering the Forgotten Words is a contemplative meditation that invites participants to return to the innocence of the heart and rediscover the Presence that has accompanied them since the beginning of their existence.

Through gentle breathwork, guided visualization, somatic awareness, and sacred remembrance, participants are invited to release the burdens of anger, fear, envy, and separation into the flowing waters of a mountain stream. As these burdens dissolve, a deeper awareness begins to emerge—an awareness of the Creator's nearness, a Presence closer than breath, nearer than heartbeat, and woven into every aspect of creation.

The meditation gradually guides the listener into an experience found at the heart of the world's great mystical traditions: the realization that awakening is not becoming something new. Awakening is remembering what the soul has always known.

As sunlight warms the skin, flowers perfume the air, birds sing their timeless songs, and a golden light awakens within the heart, participants are invited to hear once more the ancient words spoken to their souls before they entered this world. These are not words of language, but words of direct knowing—words of belonging, joy, peace, beauty, and unconditional love.

At its deepest level, this meditation is an experience of homecoming.

A homecoming to the Creator.

A homecoming to the sacred innocence that still lives within the heart.

A homecoming to the truth that beneath every layer of forgetting, we have always been loved, we are always loved, and we will always be loved.

Whether experienced as a contemplative practice, a healing journey, or a sacred moment of remembrance, Remembering the Forgotten Words offers a gentle pathway back to wonder, gratitude, and the living Presence that has never left us.

Take a breath.

Listen closely.

The forgotten words are still singing within you.

Welcome home.

Lyrics

The Words We Once Remembered
A Somatic Meditation of Returning to Innocence
Sit comfortably.
Allow your body to settle.
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Allow your breathing to become slow and natural.
There is nowhere you need to go.
Nothing you need to accomplish.
Nothing you need to become.
For these few moments, simply rest within yourself.
Take a slow breath in.
And gently exhale.
Again.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Allow your awareness to come into your body.
Feel the weight of your body supported beneath you.
Feel the contact of your feet upon the earth.
Feel the gentle movement of your breath.
Notice that you are held.
You do not need to hold yourself up.
Life is holding you.
The earth is holding you.
Love is holding you.
Take another gentle breath.
Now imagine yourself standing in a beautiful natural place.
Perhaps a meadow.
Perhaps a forest.
Perhaps beside a flowing stream.
Allow the place to reveal itself naturally.
There is no need to create it.
Simply notice what is already appearing.
Feel the breeze upon your skin.
Feel the warmth of sunlight.
Hear the sounds surrounding you.
The birds.
The wind.
The movement of water.
The quiet song of creation.
As you listen, imagine that everything around you is speaking.
The wind carries a message.
The sunlight carries a message.
The flowers carry a message.
The trees carry a message.
The stream carries a message.
Through presence.
Through love.
Through remembrance.
Become very still.
Very receptive.
Very open.
Bring your awareness gently into your heart.
Imagine a soft golden light glowing there.
Warm.
Gentle.
Living.
This light has always been within you.
It has waited patiently through every season of your life.
As you rest within this light, hear the laughter of a child.
Pure.
Joyful.
Innocent.
A laughter that awakens something ancient within you.
Something beautiful.
Something familiar.
Something you have always known.
Allow that feeling to spread through your chest.
Through your shoulders.
Through your arms.
Through your belly.
Through your legs.
Through every cell of your body.
You are remembering.
With your heart.
Long before your first memory...
Long before your first sorrow...
Long before the long journey through the lands of forgetting...
Love spoke to your soul.
The Creator spoke words to your heart.
Ancient words.
Living words.
Words older than language.
Older than nations.
Older than time.
Perhaps you cannot hear those words.
That is perfectly okay.
You do not need to hear them.
You only need to feel them.
Feel them now as warmth.
As peace.
As belonging.
As love.
Allow your body to receive that love.
Allow your heart to receive that love.
Allow yourself to be loved completely.
Simply receive.
And as you receive, notice that something begins to soften.
The old armor.
The old burdens.
The old tools of struggle and protection.
You may thank them.
They served you well.
And now, for this moment, allow them to rest.
Feel them gently set beside the stream.
Feel them gently laid upon the earth.
You do not need them right now.
You are safe.
You are loved.
You are home.
The stream continues to sing.
The flowers continue to bloom.
The wind continues to whisper.
The Creator continues to speak through all things.
And your heart remembers.
Perhaps only a little.
Perhaps more than you realize.
The remembering has already begun.
Rest for a few moments in this feeling.
Rest within the love that surrounds you.
Rest within the love that lives within you.
Now bring your awareness gently back to your breathing.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest.
Feel the support beneath your body.
Feel the presence of this moment.
Take a slow breath in.
And gently exhale.
One more breath.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
And silently repeat:
The words have never left me.
Love has never left me.
I am held within the heart of creation.
I remember.
And so it is.
