SEVEN-FOLD PATH CHAPTER ONE: PEACE
26 September 2023
Message from Mary Magdalene
Peace.
What is peace?
Peace is a place
of perfect tranquility.
It is a knowingness;
a certitude that everything is as it should be.
It's a place where only inner connection
brings forth a frequency
that is of itself calmness.
A place where the travails and trials of life
that destroy peace,
through the ego's memory and anxiety
of pain and disappointment,
completely falls away.
Where is that peace
that surpasses understanding
throughout the whole
of your soul's existence?
Your very being spoke of peace
as one defining characteristic,
fundamental to who you are.
How did we come to lose it?
It is as simple as forgetfulness.
You do not remember that plan
of perfect security, love, and Peace.
In fact,
that forgetfulness
extended into this life right now,
leaving you
with an almost impossible task
of remembering
even the smallest moments of peace
you have known here also.
These moments are still with you,
though maybe forgotten
during all the activities and challenges
of trying to live a life.
Ultimately,
you are attempting to build
an existence of peace.
However, here is your challenge.
How do you build a world of peace
through trials and experiences
that only reflect stress,
anxiety,
and inner memory of wounds or discord?
One is too caught up in the whirlwind
of chaos and emotional disharmony
to get very far.
Maybe the answer is to let go
of the memory of what happened
and grab hold of the present-now.
You've had many present-now moments even in this life.
And each of those moments
is carefully guarded by your higher self within your soul’s memories.
More so (than you know).
By stepping into the fullness,
of your higher self,
you can perfectly return to that peace
that you felt at your very creation.
The Peace that was born of Love and Joy actualized into existence
as your very expression.
You are that Peace that passes understanding.
You are love.
You are loved.
You are Joy.
You are a Joy.
Chapter One: Peace, The First Threshold of the Seven-Fold Path
Opening Teaching on the First Message of Mary Magdalene
Brothers… Sisters…
Tonight we begin a sacred journey.
Forty chapters.
Forty messages.
Forty opportunities to remember who we truly are.
But before Spirit could lead us into transformation… before Spirit could speak of love, service, surrender, healing, embodiment, divine union, or awakening…
The very first word given was:
Peace.
Not power.
Not wisdom.
Not revelation.
Not enlightenment.
Peace.
And I believe there is profound divine intelligence in that.
Because if the soul is in turmoil... if the heart is in fear... if the mind is caught in memory, anxiety, regret, guilt, or inner conflict...
Then no deeper truth can fully land.
Peace is the doorway.
Peace is the threshold.
Peace is the ground from which everything else grows.
Why Did Mary Magdalene Begin Here?
The message opens with a question:
“Peace. What is peace?”
This is not philosophy.
This is an invitation.
Spirit immediately asks us to question what we think peace is.
Most of us think peace means:
No conflict.
No illness.
No financial pressure.
No emotional pain.
No difficult relationships.
But Mary Magdalene immediately overturns that illusion.
She says:
Peace is not external circumstance.
Peace is a place of being.
A place of perfect tranquility.
A knowingness.
A certitude that everything is exactly as it should be.
This is the first revelation of the Seven-Fold Path:
Peace is not something you create.
Peace is something you remember.
The First Wound: Forgetfulness
Then comes perhaps the most important line in the entire message:
“How did we come to lose it? It is as simple as forgetfulness.”
This may be the central wound of the human journey.
Not sin.
Not failure.
Not weakness.
Forgetfulness.
We forgot who we were before fear.
We forgot who we were before trauma.
We forgot who we were before the world taught us to protect ourselves.
We forgot the original design.
We forgot the soul's first memory.
And so we began building identities around survival instead of truth.
This is why the Seven-Fold Path begins here:
Because every stage ahead depends upon one thing,
Remembering.
The Ego and the Storm
Mary Magdalene speaks of:
“The ego’s memory and anxiety of pain and disappointment.”
This is powerful.
Notice she does not say the ego creates peace.
She says the ego remembers pain.
The ego keeps score.
The ego catalogs wounds.
The ego builds defenses.
The ego says:
“Never trust again.”
“Never love that deeply again.”
“Never be vulnerable again.”
And while those defenses may protect us…
They also imprison us.
So the first work of this path is not to fight the ego,
It is to stop identifying with it.
To witness it.
To love it.
And then to step beyond it.
The Present-Now
Then Mary gives us the practice.
She says:
“Maybe the answer is to let go of the memory of what happened and grab hold of the present-now.”
This is not denial.
This is liberation.
The past may have shaped you…
But it does not have to define you.
And the future may concern you…
But it does not yet exist.
Peace lives only here.
Now.
This breath.
This heartbeat.
This moment.
This is why so many spiritual traditions point here:
In The Power of Now, in contemplative Catholic Church prayer traditions, in Buddhist mindfulness, in Sufi remembrance, in yogic awareness,
The doorway is always the same:
Presence.
The Higher Self and Original Identity
Then the message becomes even deeper:
“By stepping into the fullness of your higher self, you can perfectly return to that peace that you felt at your very creation.”
This is extraordinary.
Mary is telling us:
Peace is older than your trauma.
Older than your body.
Older than your current life story.
Peace existed before your wounds.
Peace existed before your fear.
Peace existed at your very creation.
And therefore,
Peace is not outside you.
Peace is what you are.
Why This Is Chapter One of Forty
Because everything that follows in the next 39 chapters depends on this truth.
If you do not first find peace…
Love becomes attachment.
Service becomes exhaustion.
Healing becomes striving.
Leadership becomes performance.
Spirituality becomes ego dressed in sacred language.
But if peace comes first…
Then love becomes natural.
Healing becomes possible.
Service becomes joyful.
And union becomes inevitable.
This is why this message had to come first.
Not as poetry.
Not as inspiration.
But as architecture.
This is the foundation of the entire Seven-Fold Path.
The Final Revelation
And then Mary closes with the identity statement that will echo through the next forty chapters:
You are that Peace that passes understanding.
You are love.
You are loved.
You are Joy.
You are a Joy.
Brothers… Sisters…
This is not encouragement.
This is remembrance.
And tonight, as we begin this path together, I invite you not merely to study these words…
I invite you to remember them.
Not with your mind.
But with your soul.
Because the Seven-Fold Path does not begin with learning something new…
It begins with remembering something ancient.
And that ancient truth is this:
You are Peace.
